Louise A. McCullough

Louise A. McCullough, a retired bank clerk, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, in Fresno, Calif. She was 86.

She was born in Jan. 21, 1930, in Nashville, Tenn. She was raised in Asheville, N.C., where she met and married her high school sweetheart J. Robert McCullough. The couple had three children.

She and husband lived in Philadelphia for more than 30 years, where she worked until her retirement as a bank clerk with the former First Pennsylvania Bank.

McCullough was a member of Zion Baptist Church until her husband was installed as the pastor of Community Baptist Church of West Philadelphia, where she served as the first lady until their retirement.

She is survived by: her children, J. Robert McCullough Jr., David K. McCullough and Pamela D. McCullough; grandchildren, Kenya L. McCullough-Ali, Akilah McCullough, Yannick McCullough, Ashley Davidson and Samantha Seabrooks; and other relatives and friends.

Services were held last Friday at Wildrose Chapel & Funeral Home, 916 E. Divisadero, Fresno, Calif.
