On Tuesday, November 9, The Carpenters’ Company of the City and County of Philadelphia presented the second annual David McCullough Prize for Excellence in American Public History at Carpenters’ Hall. The Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David McCullough (John Adams, Truman, 1776) has bestowed his name to this prestigious award, which the Carpenters' Company presents to those whose work engages the public in better understanding the American story.
