Miguel is a polite, outgoing 18-year-old with a winning smile that draws people to him and a clear vision of his career goals. He dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, like his idol, Ryan Howard. He especially would like to play for the Phillies. However, if that doesn’t work out, his other choice is to be a DJ. He is already practicing, using CDs on his computer. He loves remixing his favorite artists.

In his free time, he can often be found reading sports publications and listening to music. In addition to baseball, he also likes basketball, football, swimming, soccer and watching comedies on television.

Miguel enjoys going to school and learning new things. He is not shy about asking questions when he doesn’t understand something.

Along with his career goals, Miguel has another dream — to be adopted. He would like to have a family with a mom and a dad, an active family that likes to do things together and shares his interest in sports.
