Sandya is a beautiful, petite 17-year-old with many interests. A typical teenage girl, she spends many hours on her appearance. She delights in experimenting with make-up and in showing off her stylish side through her clothes and hairstyles. She is especially fond of wearing her hair in braids. She enjoys reading and eating Jamaican food. Athletic and social, Sandya plays the violin in the school band, runs track and likes basketball. She hopes to go to college.
This teenager has great potential to be successful and reach her personal goals However, she cannot achieve it alone. She needs the freedom to grow, to give and receive love and to feel that she belongs.
Sandya needs a family that is patient and encouraging, to help her focus on her schoolwork and allow her to hone her creative skills. With the guidance of a loving and stable family, Sandya’s future is boundless. It would be best if she is the only child in the family, so that she would be the center of their attention. The family could be two parents or just a mom. She loves animals, and it would be great if the household included a pet.
Adoptive parents do not need to have a specific income and they do not need to own their own homes. This kind of adoption is virtually free and many of the children are eligible for financial subsidy.
